My love for soap making started with a book. I found it at Chapters and was immediately intrigued. I was fascinated by the fact that you could make your own soap. I fell in love with the different designs, scents, and colours, and the endless combinations you could create. I spent hours researching soap-making, hoping to try it for myself one day. One nursing degree, one wedding, and three children later, I finally began my own soap-making journey.

As I learned more about natural ingredients and more about the kind of ingredients that are in most mass-produced skincare products, the more I wanted to simply make my own. I began with baby-care products such as diaper cream, lotions, and gentle soap to use on my own children. And that was just the beginning. I realized that I was really passionate about creating clean and healthy bath and body products. I strive to design products that look beautiful and feel luxurious, but are beneficial to you and your body. This is what The Lovely Soap Co. is all about.

My journey could not have begun without the support of my husband, family, and friends. I am incredibly blessed to be surrounded by a supportive community.
