My journey with soap making began when I was 22 and in university. I came across a beautiful soap-making book at Chapters and bought it on the spot. I was amazed that you could make soap yourself and that it could look just as gorgeous as the ones in the photos.

Not long after, I decided to pursue nursing school and put my soap dreams on pause. During that time, my dad actually read the book and started making soap on his own. I kept the idea close, spending hours watching YouTube videos and browsing Pinterest, knowing that someday I would get to try it for myself.

After a few years and two kids, my husband gave me the little nudge I needed to finally give it a try. Life had settled just enough, so I made my very first batch with my dad. It was a single bar of lavender and lemongrass soap, and from that moment, I was hooked.

I started making more batches for our home and gifting them to friends and family. A little while later, after welcoming another baby, a close friend and my husband encouraged me to sell at a local Christmas market. That’s where this little adventure called The Lovely Soap Co. truly began.

Since then, I’ve been experimenting with bath bombs, creams, sugar scrubs, and baby products. I love creating natural, gentle products I feel good about using on my own family’s skin — and sharing them with yours.

I'm currently working on adding more product shots to showcase these creations, especially the bath bombs, creams, sugar scrubs, and baby care items. Thank you for being here as The Lovely Soap Co. continues to grow!
